Dont forget that if doing adsense sites that people are becoming ad blind. Keeping them on the site longer will give you more time for them to notice your adsense ads.

In my opinion using various formats of content within a post is better for SEO. Using text in the form of an article, curation or even faqs or press releases are good ways to do this…but for the home page a good solid well written article is advised. the more infomative your article (or indeed your whole site) is then the more likely people are to come back and see what else you have got later.

Doing poor quality content with autoblogging without editing or curating it will not bring people back to your site.

Bringing people back to your site regularly will also allow you to test and tweak various other forms of income streams such as amazon offers, clickbank offers, CPA offers etc.

Doing curation take just a few minutes more effort and you can reap long term rewards from those extra few minutes spent.
